Every new account will get 90 days free trial after signing up to Kata Omnichat. So, for example, you signed up for your account on December 1st, then your free trial will expire on March 1st. In a free trial, you will get unlimited access to Kata Omnichat features and unlimited agent seats.
Yes. We will notify you in Kata Omnichat dashboard banner and notification section. Also, we will make a reminder to your admin about the free trial expired warning on email.
After you use 90 days free trial, you will be automatically subscribed to the starter plan, in which you will get 100 MAU and 1 agent seat only. All additional administrators and agents that had been added will be inactive and denied when logging in to Kata Omnichat dashboard. Only the first admin (creator) who created the account will be active.
MAU is the numbers of end-users that have interacted with the business for one month (30 days billing cycle).

(2) to receive a message/broadcast/template message from automation from the business.

No. Any new messages sent to you during the expiration period will be lost.
You can't receive and reply to any new interaction. Therefore, any new messages sent to you during this period will be lost. However, you can reply and receive the conversation that has been calculated as this current month’s MAU.
For instance:
Your expired date is December 30th. So the end-users sent you a message on December 30th, and you didn't renew your conversation. Then, on January 1st, you still can receive and reply to conversations from them. However, if any new end-users send you a message on January 1st, you can't both receive and reply to those messages since they are not counted as MAU in this period.
