Once your brand is approved, Kata.ai will initiate the setup process to create your WhatsApp Business Account (WABA). You will receive an email notification from our team with detailed instructions on how to proceed.
Can I upgrade my existing WhatsApp number to WhatsApp Business API?
Unfortunately, you will need to submit a new number to register in WhatsApp Business API.
Can I broadcast promotional content on WhatsApp Business?
Broadcasting promotional content is not allowed. You can only send promotional content when your customers requested it.
Can I send or receive media (such as pictures, voice notes, or documents) on WhatsApp Business?
Currently, you can only send and receive text and links on WhatsApp Business. We will let you know once there is an update from WhatsApp. You can subscribe to our newsletter to keep up with our latest information.
What will happen if my monthly active user (MAU) exceeds my tier subscription?
You will be charged for every extra MAU. The charged amount may vary, depending on your subscribed plan (from IDR 270 to IDR 400).
What is the difference between Message Templates and Chat Messages?
Message Templates are used to initiate a conversation with your customers, like sending a notification. The templates has to be approved by WhatsApp, and you will be charged for every template sent.
Chat Messages are used when your customer reply or initiate the conversation to your WhatsApp. You will have a 24-hour support window where you can send any messages, free of charge.
